How to solve limited or no internet access in windows7,8,8.1,10

 

Sometimes, when you try to connect your pc to internet via Wi-Fi, your pc successfully connects to the network but you aren't able to use internet because it shows limited access, no internet access as shown in the above picture.

You tried turning off your router, turning your wifi off etc. But it doesn't solved your problem or solved it for a few minutes only .

Here are the steps to solve this problem permanently:-

1. Right click on Wi-Fi icon 

2. Now click on "Open Network and Sharing Center

3. Now click on your connection (in my case it's my phone's hotspot "Jai's iPhone")

4. Now click on "Wireless Properties"

5. Now click on "Security" tab

6. Now, click on "Advanced Settings"

7. Un-check the box which says "Enable Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) compliance "
